Dry red wine - 100% Xinomavro PDO Naoussa

Wine with protected designation of origin (PDO) Naoussa. Alcohol by volume: 12.5%
Perhaps it’s the history that has saturated the soils of Naoussa. Or perhaps it’s the microclimate of Mount Vermio with its idyllic landscapes and crystal-clear waters. It is certain that the Xinomavro Naoussa you’ll enjoy will take you on a journey with its rich flavour.

Aromas of wild red fruit, smoke as well as a hint of the magic of dark chocolate and the spices of the East emerge when a bottle of Xinvomavro is uncorked. Combined with its full body, the charismatic bouquet and its generously offered amazing aroma accumulate to put the finishing touches on a canvas of tastes

Simple favourites like lamb or meatballs with a basic tomato sauce can be perfectly combined with the flavours of this Xinomavro wine, superbly suited to be paired with food. Equally, so can more complex tastes, such as a dish in the style of coq au vin, wild boar with prunes or a traditional Greek stifado – a casserole of veal, beef or rabbit with baby onions and tomato sauce. Serving Temperature: 18-20 °C

Matured for at least twelve months in small French oak barrels and is open to aging for at least 15 years.
